What is CPVT?

Catecholaminergic polymorphic ventricular tachycardia (CPVT) is a severe genetic disease characterized by malignant arrhythmias that may cause cardiac arrest in young patients. Interestingly, arrhythmias develop mainly when patients engage in physical activity or when they experience strong emotions.

What is Timothy Syndrome?

Timothy Syndrome is a genetic disease that affects many organs: the hearts of these patients are very unstable and may unexpectedly develop cardiac arrest; factors affecting brain development may result in a behavioural disorder called autism; blood sugar levels may become dangerously low; and the fingers and toes may not be separated.
